I sat down with one of the builder representatives and asked about the standards of “building green”. He was proud to share with me a list of numerous awards beginning in 2011 that the company had received for their commitment to building with innovative energy efficient features. I cannot list them all. But, I can and will say that after viewing the homes that I was impressed.
Serenity Creek has street names such as Utopia Loop and Bliss Loop. There are a total 111 home sites within the entire community. Homes in this neighborhood range from 2300 square feet and up to 5000 square feet. Some of the larger lots to the back of the neighborhood are graced with some beautiful old growth grandfather oak trees. Old growth oaks can be majestic!
A standard lot is 76×125 feet. Waterfront lots do come with an additional premium.
There are no CDD fees in Serenity Creek. The HOA fees are a mere $75 per month. Amenities are at a minimum and include a dog park and playground. It is a gated community. However, there is no recreation center or community pool. Add your personal pool retreat right outside your back door.
Once again when I asked about the current pricing, August 2017, the numbers were very surprising. The smaller homes begin in the mid $300,000 and the mega sized homes are in the $600,00 and up range.
Inventory homes are available and scheduled to be completed in September and October 2017.
A relatively new feature that is available and comes as a standard feature is “The M Connected Home Automation Suite”. All you need is WiFi for benefits such as video doorbell, smart door lock, smart garage door, lighting controls, advanced thermostat and weather-sensing irrigation.
